Our pets have emotions too, and are affected by stress, trauma, grief and other emotions that humans experience.

 

Flower essences are liquid extracts from various plants and flowers that balance emotions in pets (and us too!). They can be given in food or water, or can be placed directly in the pet's mouth. In situations where this is not possible, the remedies can be dropped or sprayed on the pet's skin and they will be absorbed into the body.

 

Essences can be used individually, or we can create a custom blend for your pet's particular needs. We have developed our own line of blended formulas for common problems:

Adapting to Change Formula - for coping with any change to your pet’s environment – new pet, new baby, move to new house, renovations, company staying in your home, etc.

Aggression Formula - for aggression whether unprovoked or initiated by a specific factor.

Aloof Pet Formula - for the animal who seems anti-social and often seeks solitude. It is good for aloof cats.

Appropriate Urination Formula - helps to break the negative habit of urinating around the house, re-establish good elimination habits and deal with any resentment pets may have. (We recommend that you have your pet examined for a urinary tract infection, but this formula may be used with medication or without medications where there is no physical problem found.)

Behavior Training Formula - for puppy training or destructive pets who need behavior modification along with love and positive reinforcement.

Calming & Relaxed Pet Formula - helps with stress, trauma, anxiety, hyperactivity in animals, etc. A good all-purpose remedy if you don't know what else to give. Beneficial as a preventative prior to stressful events - showing, grooming, vet visits, etc.

Clingy Pet Formula - for the animal who clings to the owner, seeks constant attention, must be on your lap and seems generally insecure without your presence.

Fear Formula - for the pet who is afraid of various things or who is startled easily. Good for thunderstorms, etc.

Feather Picking Formula - for birds under stress who often pull out feathers and mutilate themselves. We first created this remedy for one of our customers who breeds birds and subsequently members of her bird club started requesting it.

Grief Recovery Formula - for the pet who is pining/grieving over the loss of an owner, another pet in the house, etc.

Happy Vacation Formula - for pets who are being left at home with the petsitter, or boarded at a kennel. Helps them to adjust and lessens the effects of stress.

Healthy Skin Formula - for the cat or dog who constantly grooms themselves, pulls out fur and generally is out of sort emotionally. Works best when combined with a good quality diet.

Illness Recovery Formula -an emotional “pick-me-up” for the pet who has been ill, had surgery, and is recuperating more slowly than anticipated. Also for chronically ill pets.

Peaceful Transition Formula - for pets who are dying, to help them make their transition more easily and peacefully. Good also for the owner to take to assist in this difficult situation.

Trauma Recovery Formula – for abused or rescued animals, animals adopted from shelters or animals who have experienced trauma (recent or past suspected).

In the wild, our animals obtained all the substances they needed from raw meat, herbs, plants and digested food in the stomachs of their prey. Essential vitamins and minerals can be lost from pet food during processing and many of our pets are lacking in some very essential substances that are essential to good health and a strong immune system.

 

The myth of a "100% complete and balanced pet food" is just that, a myth. We don't even know 100% about human nutrition, so how do we know 100% about what pets need!?
